So, you use your debit card and your account doesn't have an adequate balance to pay for the purchase.  Maybe your bank is nice to you and covers it anyway.  Maybe you should look into nice.

More than likely there is a very hefty fee for each time this happens.  Basically the bank is loaning you the money at a very high interest rate.
